Mobility?

Dave's parents were up visiting for the weekend for both work and pleasure. The days passed by quickly as they always do when people are visiting and Dave and I get to sleep just a bit more. They arrived Saturday afternoon and, sadly, left this morning, approximately one hour before Henry rolled. Notice I didn't say "roll over". He rolled 360 degrees. A complete circle. Started on his back. Ended on his back. I thought "wow, that's amazing" which was followed by "well, he probably won't do that again for another month or so". Fast forward to late afternoon. He started out on his playmat, rolled onto the carpet, then rolled onto the wood floor. Then he sort of maneuvered himself all the way over to where we store his Jumperoo. I think the actual distance is only about four feet, but according to the "mom metric system", this was approximately 500 feet, give or take a thousand. After accomplishing this particulary impressive feat, he tried very hard to use his arms to propel him forward, only managing to go in the other direction instead. I was pretty impressed nonetheless. So, to make a long story short, Henry is officially mobile. I would be more frightened by this but he becomes so engrossed with the task of inching, well, anywhere, that it buys me a few minutes of not having to actively entertain him by bouncing him on my knee or singing "Old McDonald" at the top of my lungs (realistic animal sounds included).
