Top ten list Christmas 2005
We had a somewhat insane holiday season this year. This came as a slight surprise to me since we decided to spend Christmas at home, opting to head down to Virginia on the 26th instead of a few days ahead of the holiday. Some highlights of the holiday season were (in no particular order):
10. The cookie exchange my mom and I did via USPS. We ate her (dozens of) cookies in under three days.
9. Henry rolled over from his tummy to his back.
8. Blinies at the Mulligan's Christmas morning.
7. Eating every single one of the waffle cookies that Dave's mom had in the house, including the ones in the freezer.
6. Henry rolling over from his back to his tummy, something he is now compelled to do when he's placed on his back on any flat surface.
5. The Print Gocco printer my parents got me for Christmas.
4. Falling on my butt while bowling. In front of a group of teenagers. Boy were my cheeks red. Ha ha ha! Get it?
3. Lots of coke icee's from 7-11. It doesn't take much to thrill me.
2. Being able to hand Henry off to lots of relatives so I could go take lots of naps.
1. My "Reading is Sexy" t-shirt.
Believe it or not, despite all the cookie eating, I (mercifully) didn't gain any weight this year. And, although the holiday's are over, here's a picture taken Christmas morning featuring me with Henry, who's sporting a Santa suit:
