A Dangerous Group
I recently finished Bob Park's book Voodoo Science: The Road from Foolishness to Fraud and was inspired to look a little further into pseudo-science scamming, particularly Dennis Lee's group which boasts a "possible free energy machine nearing completion" . Lee hopes you will want a 'dealership', which is the exclusive right to sell their products (which don't exist yet). One fellow unsuccessfully tried to unload his dealership on ebay recently. It appears that Lee is hoping to legitimize his own bogus products by also offering a couple of respected physics toys made by other people like the levitron. But you can find these toys anywhere ( here for example). It's hard to understand what drives people like Lee to promote non-existent machines that violate fundamental physical laws. No reputable scientist has endorsed Lee's products. One particularly complete site that details Lee's exploitive business practices and lack of scientific credibility is by Eric Krieg at the phact.org site .
