When it rains...
...you get wet. I wonder if I have much hope of posting regularly.
The internet is abuzz with a guy and his funky generator which seems possessed. One inflammatory article is here with priceless quotes like "No whisper of broken scientific laws or free energy [....] not yet" or even better "Well-educated people [...] have made similar claims of perpetual motion only to be slammed down by the mainstream scientific community" as if mainstream scientists (what is a mainstream scientist?) go around with big hammers hitting people over the head. Attempted perpetual motion machines always get their chance in the spotlight and always fail.
But scientists love to find new stuff, and the best scientists are humble enough to know that nobody has a monopoly on science, so cheers to that MIT prof for taking a look at it. Sometimes obvious things do get overlooked. The little problem of course is that perpetual motion is impossible; the hope is that maybe this guy stumbled on a way to increase the efficiency of the engine. Since that would lead to multi-million/billion dollar patents I have every faith that it will come to light if true.
And back to work...
